Vasant Subramanyan

Appointment Date: Mr. Subramanyan was appointed a Director of Nirdhan in August 2011.
Career: Mr. Subramanyan is Director and CEO of Last Peak, a full service Health Care Management and Building Group. He is a Serial entrepreneur, and has promoted a number of business entities providing services to various healthcare companies in the USA. He has also been a consultant in the info Tech space to technology ventures in the US which have seen the convergence of platforms in data, Voice and Picture capture. Mr. Subramanyan was an international corporate compliance & financial administration consultant and former multi-national, F200 consultant on cross-border trade statutory compliance, mergers and acquisitions.
Education: Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law, Calcutta University.
Other: Past President of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce,(Eastern Regional Council ) and Past President of TIE, Kolkata – a Not for Profit Organization, which advocates and promotes entrepreneurship.
Shouryabrata Mandal
Role: Director of Nirdhan
Appointment Date: Mr. Mandal was appointed a Director of Nirdhan in August 2011.
Career: Mr. Mandal is a partner at the Indian law firm, Fox Mandal Little, based in Kolkata. He focuses on real estate law and has been named as one of the International Who’s Who foe Real Estate Lawyers.
Education: Bsc (Honours) in Economics from Calcutta University and LLB (Law) From University of Bombay.
Other: Former President of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce – Eastern Regional Council and chair of the Banking, Finance & Securities committee of the inter-pacific Bar Association (IPBA).
Ishita Ghosh
Role: Additional Director
Career: Ishita Ghosh has been working in various corporate roles for over two decades firstly in design, engineering, and the EPC space and current as a promoter entrepreneur in white goods blended retail as well as digital signage and publicity services space.
Her skills include back-office management, accounting and inventory management customer service fulfilment and strategy planning for her businesses.
Ishita is currently a director with Magitronix Ecomm Pvt Ltd and Millvalley Technologies Pvt Ltd.
Education: Masters in English from Calcutta University
Krupakaran Satish David
Role: Director of Nirdhan
Appointment Date: Mr. Krupakaran Satish David was appointed a Director of Nirdhan in June 2018.
Career: Mr. David started his career in Advertising with J. Walter Thompson in 1968 and thereafter joined the Tea Industry in 1969 with Duncan Brothers and Co., was transferred to Head Office in Calcutta in 1984 and thereafter rose to head the Goodricke Group of Companies (part of Camellia PLC. UK) in 1999 Managing Director. Retired in January, 2008 and continued as Corporate Advisor to the Group till December 2010.
Education: Bachelor of Science from the University of Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Other:- Mr. David was also a Trustee of Future Hope, VANNI and a Trustee of the East India Charitable Trust for a number of years. Currently involved with the Freemason and head the Eastern Zone as the District Grand Master, Bengal (appointed by H.H. the Duke of Kent).
Nupur Vaswani
Role: Director of Nirdhan
Appointment Date: Ms. Vaswani was appointed a Director of Nirdhan in June 2018.
Career: Ms. Vaswani started her career in 1997 as a Chartered Accountancy Articled Trainee and went on to work as a Senior Accounts Manager at Wesman Thermal Engineering Processes Pvt. Ltd. She handled multiple functions in accounts and finance departments, including derivation of cash flow statements, stock statements, reconciliation of bank statements, depreciation calculations and finalization of accounts.
Education: Ms. Vaswani is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accontants, Kolkata.
Other: Ms. Vaswani also worked in several other reputed companies like DPIL, Warren Tea Limited, S.N. Chakrabotry & Co. and Messrs. G.K. Basu & Co. all of which have given her immense experience and expertise in the field of accounts.
